“I hired Carrie for four training sessions with my 5 month old puppy Cody. This proved to be much more than simply dog obedience training. In addition to the basic ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’ obedience commands it was an education for me personally on dog care and behavior. Having had a dog many years ago I thought I knew a lot. However, a lot of what I ‘knew’ proved to be inaccurate or just plain wrong. Carrie patiently answered every question I put to her and ‘updated’ my previous thoughts on the matter. She then became Cody’s advocate and asked me questions on his diet, schedule, and care. She gave me excellent advice and suggestions on all of the above and have proven to be 100% correct and most helpful.
"At Cody’s first session Carrie asked what behavior problems I was having with him and then gave me training techniques to correct these problems. After Cody’s last session Carrie explained to me what I should expect from Cody and how his behavior might change in the 6 to 12 month period. This has really helped me not to overreact when these things began to happen.
